Your dogs safety and happiness our are #1 concern, thats why we have policies set in place to ensure that. Our goal is to be as transparent and detailed as possible!
Inclimate Weather Policy for DayCare / Day Training;
Please be aware that The Dog Co. will be CLOSED if Wicomico Public Schools are closed.
Proper Petiquette for drop off & pick up
Drop off 8:00am-9:00am / Pick up 4:00pm-5:00pm

When you arrive to our facility you will see a white gated area, inside is our lobby where drop offs and pickups will occur.

During this time we ask for one dog in the lobby at a time, in a sit if they will, and to not interact with the other dogs that may also be waiting.

We ask this because not all dogs that come to our facility are dog friendly or are still working on their manners.

If your dog will sit please instruct them to do so before handing them off to a staff member for a calm transition.

A smooth transition from owner to staff can be important for starting the day right. A dog that is wound up will continue to be in that state, making down time in their crate more difficult.

At pickup you will experience the same with our staff members, they will ask your dog for a sit before handing them over to you.

Same concept applies for this time, by calmly handing over your dog we hope to transition the reduced energy to you!
